if you’re wondering why “cosmic mycelium” —
when i learned about the quantum field and dark energy, this is what i likened it to! ‘cosmic mycelium’ is my metaphorical concept that draws on the idea of mycelium networks, which are fungal structures connecting and nourishing life in ecosystems, to describe the interconnected web of energy, consciousness, and/or all beings across the universe.
it suggests that just as mycelium form hidden, intricate networks beneath the surface of the earth, Cosmic Mycelium represents that unseen, energetic web connecting everything in the cosmos, supporting the flow of information, resources, and life force throughout the universe.
i wanted a name for this deck that would evoke the sense of oneness and interconnectedness of all existence, since that’s the theme of this creation ✨🍄
